在私企里面，学到的东西会比较多，如果小心一点的事情，一个企业的五脏六腑你都可以了解的比较清楚，所以如果你积累了一定的资本，又有足够的经验，很有可能，你会自己再开一家公司运营自己的外贸项目。
在私企里面能力是最关键的，学历只是一个敲门砖。如果你是研究生学历，但是能力不行，有可能大的企业进不去，小的企业不敢招，比较尴尬。
外贸这个行业，讲能力也讲运气，有很多从业者，甚至都不是大学学历，但是通过比较好的自学能力，在培训班学好了英语以后就直接做外贸了，工作年限久了以后，也能够熟能生巧，做到很好的业绩。
建议在读大学的期间就多实践，最好能够在大学期间就运营一两个外贸的项目，有了一定的经验积累以后，做什么都会相对容易一些，千万不要大学几年时间，都是在纸上谈兵，只是上课，外貌这件事情如果不操作，肯定是没有办法做好的。
