Dialogue one


Employee:I sorry but I am afraid that I have to leave for 5 days.


Boss: What? A leave for 5 days?As you know, it 's busy time for our campany.


Employee:Yes, I know that. But my wife has just given a birth to my kid. I have to be with my wife to take good care of her.


Boss: Oh, congratulations to you on being a dad! But why not employ someone to look after her?


Empolyee:Well , I think what my wife really need is that it's her husband me that be with her.


Boss: Em, I see. Ok, you can have a leave for 5 days, but you should make up of the exception in this busy period by working overtime 2 hours each day within the frist two weeks after you return.


Empolyee:That' s all right.Thank you for your understanding.


Dialogue two


Attendant:Good morning , Madam. What can I do for you?


Customer:Good morning, sir. I bought a laptop from this shop two weeks ago. But it's broken now . So I want a refund .


Attendant:,May I have a look?


Customer: Yes ,here it is .


Attendant:It dosen't have any damage in the surface. Would you like to tell me what happened before it brok?


Customer:I wanted to drink some water when I was typing. Carelessly, I poured the water on it and it broke at once.


Attendant:I'm sorry to hear that. But I afraid we cuold not give you a refund.


Customer:Are you kidding? Please tell me why!


Attendant: Refund could be made within 7days after the day you bought it.


Customer:The point is that I wonder the laptop's quality is poor. And you should not be out of the responsibililty.


Attendant:Sorry.But as you said ,it broke caused by the water pouring. It has nothing to do with our shop but your own fault.


Customer: What are you talking? It's my fault?


Attendant: I am sorry about that.If you have anything puzzled, you can find our mananger to deal with this.
