Your friend asks you to return a book that you borrowed from him several months ago .At first ,you can not remember what you did with it ,Then you remember that you loaned it to another friend who lost it.以次为材料编一段口语对话，3-5分钟

M: hi, David! Are you still reading the book I loaned you?
D: You loaned me a book? What are you talking about?
M: Harry Potter
D: I did read the book. Did I borrow from you?
M: Yes, you did.
D: How come I don’t recall anything? Sorry about that. Let me think.
M: it was about two months ago. Actually I loaned you the book before I read it.
D: I am terribly sorry about that. It is a wonderful book. I remember someone else kept asking me about the book. But the name just slipped my mind.
M: Could that be Tony? I remember he was with you a lot before? Now he is nowhere to be found.
D: I got it! It is Tony! You are right. I haven’t seen him for quite some time. He was begging me for that book. I knew it was not right to loan a book that doesn’t belong to me. I didn’t get your permission.
M: Do you have his phone number? Call him and see where the book is now.
D: Ok. Here is his number. Hope he knows what we are talking about. I know he is a careless guy. So am I.
(David called Tony.)
M: What did he say?
D: I am sorry, Mike, Tony had lost the book. He felt too bad to show up.
M: My goodness! How could people do things like that?
D: David, it is all my fault. I will pay for it. I will get you a new book tomorrow. I promise you.
M: Forget it.
D: I swear to god. I ‘ll get you a brand new one tomorrow. Please don’t get upset.
M: I am not upset. I am fuming.
D: Mike, it is my fault. Trust me. I will get you a new one tomorrow.
M: all right. See you tomorrow.
D: See you.
